As an Eco Lodge, Salve Floresta provides many intriguing guided hikes through parts of the Mata Atlantica Rainforest as a tourism activity that can raise awareness of the need for environmental protection amongst our guests and visitors. From moderate intensity hikes of 4 hours to easier family hikes, fit for kids, we offer a unique experience in discovering the Flora and Fauna of our rainforest, with the opportunity to swim in and enjoy picturesque waterfalls being the end goal of many of our hikes. Our guides are specialized in the local Flora & Fauna and Birds Species, and can provide insight into the importance of each part of our ecosystem.

We define ourselves not by being a natural park, but rather a way to enjoy nature in its natural habitat. Here at Salve Floresta, we have set our intentions on saving the rainforest by providing a space in which people can experience the true essence of nature and learn about the importance of conservation. We believe that by encouraging sustainable ecotourism, people from near and far can contribute economically to the preservation of our unique natural habitat whilst learning about how to have a positive impact on nature going into the future.
