This is why we hire all our employees locally. All necessary purchases are made locally. Cooperation with schools is ongoing and intensive. Approximately 300 students from regional schools have participated in our environmental education program each year.
We also organize organic farming courses for small farmers in the region. All of this is to help and motivate people to improve their diet, production, sales of products and to encourage participation among associations, the community, public authorities and the private sector.
For the continuation of this work, visits by international tourists are an important pillar of support: in addition to getting to know the rainforest ecosystem up close, they also show local residents that it is possible to earn a living differently. Instead of destroying the environment, preserve it. Strengthen the regional economy by conserving and improving the quality of life of local residents. The goal is to create a lasting relationship between a small village in Brazil and a successful project that can protect the rainforest. The articles published in the press to date have contributed greatly to this.
